The Ringing World National Youth Contest
An annual national bellringing contest held in early July each year which is open to young ringers under 19.

Duke of Edinburgh award scheme
This guidance is designed to provide an approach to assess the progress of those who have chosen Bellringing as an activity to achieve their DofE award.

This is a challenge badge aimed at introducing young people to bellringing, and giving existing young ringers the opportunity to earn a badge to mark their progress in ringing. The Challenge is open to all Young Ringers, Girlguiding and Scout Association members.

The Young Ringers Hub project team are developing new content including
- Guidance for working with Scouts and Guides
- Engaging with other youth organisations e.g. Boys Brigade
- Guidance on how to work with young people
Over 18s resources
The Young Change Ringers Association is an association for young ringers led by young ringers.
The Young Ringers Hub project team are working with the YCRA to align resources and websites and create a structure to support youth ringing. More information will be posted as it is developed.

Registered Small Society is a new level of membership open to ringing societies with 75 or fewer members (or fewer than 25 members in the case of societies operating entirely outside the British Isles). The scheme is designed for university societies, youth societies, small district societies, special interest societies and ‘clusters’ of towers in towns

The Lilliputters Guild is a small group of young ringers who enjoy meeting for ringing and socials.
UniversityRinging.org
This is the current University Ringing website developed by Jacqui Brown and is now hosted on the Central Council servers. The Young Ringers Hub project team will develop the site and make sure that there is a robust mechanism in place to keep this vital information up to date.
Schools
There is a School lesson plan project currently in development that aims to increase awareness of ringing in schools by aligning bespoke lesson plans to the national curriculum and supporting the school’s coverage of the teaching of British values. This article was published in the Ringing World and on the CCCBR website. Further updates will be published as the project develops.
